On July 30, 2009, the Region of Niagara passed By-law 62-2009 under the Development Charges Act, 1997. The by-law came into effect on September 1, 2009. It imposes development charges on residential and non-residential uses. These boundaries shall remain in effect until Spetember 1, 2015.
